A passion project to experiment with the comedy-drama end of filmmaking, this next to nothing budget short film starred Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones/Upstart Crow) and Christopher Dingli.
Frites tells the story of Claude who has an unhealthy obsession with food, but when Marie Anne decides to finally confront him about it, events take a decidedly strange turn.
The one main memory from this shoot was how we all didn’t keel over from smoke inhalation. A lot of cigarettes were smoked on this set!
We did see it in a few film festivals including Propeller, The End of the Pier festival and Brighton Fringe Fest.
